In the British and Continental Watercolours including Original Book auction, the work The man about town changed hands for GBP 478.00 (€ 676.50) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Admittedly, works by Sue Macartney-Snape have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sunday morning in the shires in December 2004 with an auction result of GBP 3,346.00 (€ 4,735.51).
