Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The father's girlfriend by Sue Macartney-Snape was sold in the British and Continental Watercolours including Original Book auction at Christies in London in December 2004. It changed hands for a price of GBP 597.50 (€ 845.63) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Admittedly, works by Sue Macartney-Snape have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sunday morning in the shires in December 2004 with an auction result of GBP 3,346.00 (€ 4,735.51).

Die Arbeit The father's girlfriend von Sue Macartney-Snape wurde im Dezember 2004 in der Auktion British and Continental Watercolours including Original Book bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 597,50 (€ 845,63) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 400,00 – 600,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sue Macartney-Snape auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sunday morning in the shires im Dezember 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.346,00 (€ 4.735,51).
