It changed hands for a price of GBP 597.50 (€ 845.63) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Admittedly, works by Sue Macartney-Snape have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sunday morning in the shires in December 2004 with an auction result of GBP 3,346.00 (€ 4,735.51).
