Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Christmas guest by Sue Macartney-Snape was sold in the British and Continental Watercolours including Original Book auction at Christies in London in December 2004. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 700.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 717.00 (€ 1,014.75). Admittedly, works by Sue Macartney-Snape have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sunday morning in the shires in December 2004 with an auction result of GBP 3,346.00 (€ 4,735.51).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Christmas guest von Sue Macartney-Snape wurde im Dezember 2004 in der Auktion British and Continental Watercolours including Original Book bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 700,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 717,00 (€ 1.014,75) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sue Macartney-Snape auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sunday morning in the shires im Dezember 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.346,00 (€ 4.735,51).
