Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fruit vendors at the pasar by Sudjono Abdullah was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 875.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Sudjono Abdullah have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2010 the work Landscape with vulcano and sawahs was auctioned for EUR 1,500.00.

Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 875,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
