Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2006 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Indonesian Art, which included the work Resting horse carriage by Sudjono Abdullah. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,140.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Other works by Sudjono Abdullah have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2010 the work Landscape with vulcano and sawahs was auctioned for EUR 1,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2006 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Indonesian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Resting horse carriage von Sudjono Abdullah zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.140,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00. Andere Arbeiten von Sudjono Abdullah konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im September 2010 die Arbeit Landscape with vulcano and sawahs für EUR 1.500,00 versteigert.
