This work without title by Sudarshan Shetty was sold in the South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art auction at Christies in London in June 2008. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,530.15), 46% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Sudarshan Shetty have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in September 2008 with an auction result of USD 52,500.00 (€ 37,284.28).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Sudarshan Shetty wurde im Juni 2008 in der Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 4.375,00 (€ 5.530,15) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sudarshan Shetty auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im September 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 52.500,00 (€ 37.284,28).
