A top price for Sudarshan Shetty - as previously expected
This work without title by Sudarshan Shetty was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2008. The price achieved of USD 52,500.00 (€ 37,284.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, this work without title is the most expensive artwork by Sudarshan Shetty that we have observed at auctions so far.

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Sudarshan Shetty kam im September 2008 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 52.500,00 (€ 37.284,28) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist dieses Werk ohne Titel das teuerste Kunstwerk von Sudarshan Shetty, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
