The work The Indignity of Having to Say Something Twice by Sudarshan Shetty was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2007. The price achieved of USD 5,040.00 (€ 3,768.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sudarshan Shetty have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in September 2008 with an auction result of USD 52,500.00 (€ 37,284.28).

Die Arbeit The Indignity of Having to Say Something Twice von Sudarshan Shetty kam im März 2007 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.040,00 (€ 3.768,51) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sudarshan Shetty auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im September 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 52.500,00 (€ 37.284,28).
