Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Subodh Gupta was auctioned at Phillips in London in December 2018. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 33,750.00 (€ 37,600.49). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Subodh Gupta achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in October 2008 with an auction result of HKD 12,980,000.00 (€ 1,320,312.25).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Subodh Gupta kam im Dezember 2018 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 33.750,00 (€ 37.600,49) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Subodh Gupta erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 12.980.000,00 (€ 1.320.312,25).
