It achieved a price of HKD 199,500.00 (€ 17,439.95), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 66%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Su Xinping achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cheers in September 2007 with an auction result of USD 493,000.00 (€ 346,719.18).

Die Arbeit Looking into the Distance From a High Place von Su Xinping kam im November 2007 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 199.500,00 (€ 17.439,95) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 66%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Su Xinping erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cheers im September 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 493.000,00 (€ 346.719,18).
