Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2015 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction 20 Century and Contemporary Chinese Art, which included the work Rise Above It At All by Su Xiaobai. It changed hands for a price of HKD 1,725,000.00 (€ 199,359.43) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 1,400,000.00 – 1,800,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Su Xiaobai - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Great Consummation-3, which sold at auction in October 2014 for HKD 4,600,000.00 (€ 473,583.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2015 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion 20 Century and Contemporary Chinese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rise Above It At All von Su Xiaobai zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 1.725.000,00 (€ 199.359,43) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 1.400.000,00 – 1.800.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Su Xiaobai mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Great Consummation-3 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2014 für HKD 4.600.000,00 (€ 473.583,40) versteigert wurde.
