Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Document-2 by Su Xiaobai was sold in the Modern Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2016. The price achieved of HKD 1,500,000.00 (€ 168,997.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 1,200,000.00 – 1,800,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Su Xiaobai - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Great Consummation-3, which sold at auction in October 2014 for HKD 4,600,000.00 (€ 473,583.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Document-2 von Su Xiaobai wurde im April 2016 in der Auktion Modern Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 1.500.000,00 (€ 168.997,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 1.200.000,00 – 1.800.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Su Xiaobai mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Great Consummation-3 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2014 für HKD 4.600.000,00 (€ 473.583,40) versteigert wurde.
