Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mountain in Purple Mist by Su Chung-Ming was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in July 2020. The price achieved of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 8,217.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 100,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Su Chung-Ming - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Autumn Waterfall, which sold at auction in May this year for HKD 138,600.00 (€ 16,612.75).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mountain in Purple Mist von Su Chung-Ming kam im Juli 2020 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 8.217,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Su Chung-Ming mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Autumn Waterfall beobachtet, die im Mai diesen Jahres für HKD 138.600,00 (€ 16.612,75) versteigert wurde.
