Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscapes of the Four Seasons by Su Chung-Ming was sold in the Chinese Contemporary Ink auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2018. The price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 6,828.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Su Chung-Ming - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Autumn Waterfall, which sold at auction in May this year for HKD 138,600.00 (€ 16,612.75).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscapes of the Four Seasons von Su Chung-Ming wurde im Mai 2018 in der Auktion Chinese Contemporary Ink bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 6.828,41) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Su Chung-Ming mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Autumn Waterfall beobachtet, die im Mai diesen Jahres für HKD 138.600,00 (€ 16.612,75) versteigert wurde.
