In November 2021 Phillips in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work Tiananmen Square, Beijing by Stuart Franklin. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 8,190.00 (€ 9,615.83), 37% above the upper estimate. Other works by Stuart Franklin have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,767.57) in May 2017 for the work Tienamen Square, 4th June 1989.
