Auction result misses estimated price range
In October this year a collector was able to acquire the work Yes by Stickymonger for HKD 25,200.00 (€ 3,047.46). This price was achieved in the auction No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Stickymonger achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Strawberry Stalkers - Happy Together in July last year with an auction result of HKD 1,638,000.00 (€ 204,388.75).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Yes von Stickymonger für HKD 25.200,00 (€ 3.047,46) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Stickymonger erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Strawberry Stalkers - Happy Together im Juli letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.638.000,00 (€ 204.388,75).
