In January 2011 Christies in New York held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Stains in the Yard by Steve Galloway. The »bidding war« ended at USD 2,750.00 (€ 2,005.10), 38% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Steve Galloway - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Quivering State, which sold at auction in January 2011 for USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,012.76).

Im Januar 2011 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Stains in the Yard von Steve Galloway zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 2.750,00 (€ 2.005,10) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Steve Galloway mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Quivering State beobachtet, die im Januar 2011 für USD 6.875,00 (€ 5.012,76) versteigert wurde.
