A top price for Stephen Antonakos - as previously expected
In April 2021 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Contemporary Art & Design, which included the work "Red and blue incomplete circle" by Stephen Antonakos. It changed hands for a price of SEK 95,000.00 (€ 9,342.06) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of SEK 80,000.00 – 100,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, "Red and blue incomplete circle" is the most expensive artwork by Stephen Antonakos that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im April 2021 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Contemporary Art & Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Red and blue incomplete circle" von Stephen Antonakos zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von SEK 95.000,00 (€ 9.342,06) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 80.000,00 – 100.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist "Red and blue incomplete circle" das teuerste Kunstwerk von Stephen Antonakos, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
