This artwork by Stanley Roy Badmin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in February 2019. In the The Fine Art Society: 142 Years on New Bond Street auction, the work Mortimer'S Mill, Uley  sold for GBP 1,625.00 (€ 1,895.62) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Stanley Roy Badmin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Four Seasons in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 34,100.00 (€ 46,336.12).

Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen

Dieses Kunstwerk von Stanley Roy Badmin erzielte im Februar 2019 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Fine Art Society: 142 Years on New Bond Street wurde die Arbeit Mortimer'S Mill, Uley  für GBP 1.625,00 (€ 1.895,62) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Stanley Roy Badmin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Four Seasons im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 34.100,00 (€ 46.336,12).
