Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Chepstow, Monmouthshire by Stanley Roy Badmin was sold in the The Fine Art Society: 142 Years on New Bond Street auction at Sothebys in London in February 2019. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,916.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Stanley Roy Badmin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Four Seasons in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 34,100.00 (€ 46,336.12).
