Auction result well in line with expectations
In March this year Bonhams held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work At Whitstable by Stanley Roy Badmin. The price achieved of GBP 956.25 (€ 1,087.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Stanley Roy Badmin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Four Seasons in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 34,100.00 (€ 46,336.12).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit At Whitstable von Stanley Roy Badmin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 956,25 (€ 1.087,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Stanley Roy Badmin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Four Seasons im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 34.100,00 (€ 46.336,12).
