Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La Strega by Stanislas Lepri was sold in the ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA auction at Christies in Milan in November 2005. The price achieved of EUR 4,960.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Stanislas Lepri have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work L'homme au visage craquelé in May last year with an auction result of GBP 20,160.00 (€ 23,716.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit La Strega von Stanislas Lepri wurde im November 2005 in der Auktion ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA bei Christies in Mailand versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.960,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Stanislas Lepri auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit L'homme au visage craquelé im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.160,00 (€ 23.716,32).
