Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Southern California by Stan Galli was sold in the Vintage Posters and Olympic Icons auction at Christies in London in April 2012. The price achieved of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,839.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Stan Galli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Los Angeles, United Air Lines, which sold at auction in November 2015 for GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,916.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Southern California von Stan Galli wurde im April 2012 in der Auktion Vintage Posters and Olympic Icons bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.839,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Stan Galli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Los Angeles, United Air Lines beobachtet, die im November 2015 für GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.916,97) versteigert wurde.
