Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2013 Christies in London held the auction Vintage Posters, which included the work Los Angeles, United Airlines by Stan Galli. The price achieved of GBP 937.50 (€ 1,108.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Stan Galli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Los Angeles, United Air Lines, which sold at auction in November 2015 for GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,916.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion Vintage Posters durch, in der auch die Arbeit Los Angeles, United Airlines von Stan Galli zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 937,50 (€ 1.108,12) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Stan Galli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Los Angeles, United Air Lines beobachtet, die im November 2015 für GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.916,97) versteigert wurde.
