Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Los Angeles, United Airlines by Stan Galli was sold in the Vintage Posters auction at Christies in London in May 2013. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,607.59). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Stan Galli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Los Angeles, United Air Lines, which sold at auction in November 2015 for GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,916.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Los Angeles, United Airlines von Stan Galli wurde im Mai 2013 in der Auktion Vintage Posters bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.375,00 (€ 1.607,59) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Stan Galli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Los Angeles, United Air Lines beobachtet, die im November 2015 für GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.916,97) versteigert wurde.
