This artwork by Stan Galli achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in November 2010. In the Travel and Vintage Posters auction, the work Los Angeles sold for GBP 2,125.00 (€ 2,539.37) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Stan Galli; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Los Angeles, United Air Lines sold at auction in November 2015 with the realized price of GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,916.97).
