Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April last year Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern Day Auction, which included the work Ricefields by Srihadi Soedarsono. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 600,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 604,800.00 (€ 73,124.72). Admittedly, works by Srihadi Soedarsono have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dalam Meditasi Bedhoyo Ketawang (State Of Meditation - Bedhoyo Ketawang) in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 3,500,000.00 (€ 383,472.06).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ricefields von Srihadi Soedarsono zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 600.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 604.800,00 (€ 73.124,72) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Srihadi Soedarsono auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dalam Meditasi Bedhoyo Ketawang (State Of Meditation - Bedhoyo Ketawang) im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.500.000,00 (€ 383.472,06).
