Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mexico City 5 (Zocalo) by Spencer Tunick was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in July 2020. The price achieved of USD 1,275.00 (€ 1,082.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Spencer Tunick achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Barcelona I (Institut de Cultura) 2003 in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 22,299.86).

Die Arbeit Mexico City 5 (Zocalo) von Spencer Tunick kam im Juli 2020 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.275,00 (€ 1.082,89) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden.
