The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,912.50 (€ 2,245.45), 28% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Spencer Frederick Gore achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sunset, Letchworth, With Man And Dog in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 149,000.00 (€ 210,088.13).
