Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of GBP 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 56,250.00 (€ 80,119.77). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Spencer Frederick Gore - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sunset, Letchworth, With Man And Dog, which sold at auction in June 2015 for GBP 149,000.00 (€ 210,088.13).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Tennis In Mornington Crescent Gardens von Spencer Frederick Gore kam im November 2015 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 56.250,00 (€ 80.119,77) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Spencer Frederick Gore mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sunset, Letchworth, With Man And Dog beobachtet, die im Juni 2015 für GBP 149.000,00 (€ 210.088,13) versteigert wurde.
