This artwork by Sorel Etrog achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in April 2020. In the Joseph H. Hirshhorn: Collector for A Nation - An Online Sale auction, the work Moses sold for USD 56,250.00 (€ 51,346.42) - well above the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sorel Etrog - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Family Group, which sold at auction in November 2013 for USD 161,000.00 (€ 118,330.15).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Sorel Etrog erzielte im April 2020 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Joseph H. Hirshhorn: Collector for A Nation - An Online Sale wurde die Arbeit Moses für USD 56.250,00 (€ 51.346,42) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Sorel Etrog mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Family Group beobachtet, die im November 2013 für USD 161.000,00 (€ 118.330,15) versteigert wurde.
