A top price for Sopheap Pich
In November 2018 Phillips in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale, which included the work Memory by Sopheap Pich. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 400,000.00 (€ 45,147.05), 33% above the upper estimate. With this result, Memory is even the most expensive work of art by Sopheap Pich that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im November 2018 führte Phillips in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Memory von Sopheap Pich zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 45.147,05) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Memory sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Sopheap Pich, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
