Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Plant Detail by Sonya Noskowiak for USD 5,938.00 (€ 4,368.10). This price was achieved in the auction Photographs at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 9,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Sonya Noskowiak have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Glass study with reflections in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 16,450.00 (€ 19,384.87).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Plant Detail von Sonya Noskowiak für USD 5.938,00 (€ 4.368,10) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Photographs bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 9.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sonya Noskowiak auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Glass study with reflections im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 16.450,00 (€ 19.384,87).
