In March 2018 Sothebys in New York held the auction TO LIVE WITH ART: Property from the Jerome & Ellen Stern Collection, which included the work Sem Título (Untitled) by Sonia Gomes. The auction ended at the price of USD 25,000.00 (€ 20,292.21), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sonia Gomes have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sem título from the series Torção in March 2021 with an auction result of USD 138,600.00 (€ 118,027.76).

Im März 2018 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion TO LIVE WITH ART: Property from the Jerome & Ellen Stern Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sem Título (Untitled) von Sonia Gomes zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 20.292,21) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 18.000,00 – 25.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sonia Gomes auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sem título from the series Torção im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 138.600,00 (€ 118.027,76).
