The work Ornaments by Song Yuanyuan was sold in the Contemporary Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2014. It achieved a price of HKD 225,000.00 (€ 23,164.41), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Song Yuanyuan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Polyhedron (Diptych), which sold at auction in April 2015 for HKD 437,500.00 (€ 50,562.18).

Die Arbeit Ornaments von Song Yuanyuan wurde im Oktober 2014 in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 225.000,00 (€ 23.164,41) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Für andere Arbeiten von Song Yuanyuan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Polyhedron (Diptych) beobachtet, die im April 2015 für HKD 437.500,00 (€ 50.562,18) versteigert wurde.
