Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pasty Bag by Song Yuanyuan was sold in the Contemporary Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2015. The price achieved of HKD 125,000.00 (€ 14,446.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Song Yuanyuan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Polyhedron (Diptych), which sold at auction in April 2015 for HKD 437,500.00 (€ 50,562.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Pasty Bag von Song Yuanyuan wurde im April 2015 in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 14.446,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Song Yuanyuan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Polyhedron (Diptych) beobachtet, die im April 2015 für HKD 437.500,00 (€ 50.562,18) versteigert wurde.
