Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Song Yuanyuan could be acquired at Sothebys in London in May last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Discoveries auction, the work Love Has Broken changed hands for GBP 1,512.00 (€ 1,778.72) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Song Yuanyuan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Polyhedron (Diptych) in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 437,500.00 (€ 50,562.18).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Song Yuanyuan konnte im Mai letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Discoveries wechselte die Arbeit Love Has Broken für GBP 1.512,00 (€ 1.778,72) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Song Yuanyuan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Polyhedron (Diptych) im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 437.500,00 (€ 50.562,18).
