Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2016 Christies in Shanghai held the auction FIRST OPEN | Shanghai, which included the work Poor Studio (Door Factory) by Song Yuanyuan. The price achieved of CNY 108,000.00 (€ 14,541.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CNY 90,000.00 – 160,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Song Yuanyuan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Polyhedron (Diptych), which sold at auction in April 2015 for HKD 437,500.00 (€ 50,562.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2016 führte Christies in Shanghai die Auktion FIRST OPEN | Shanghai durch, in der auch die Arbeit Poor Studio (Door Factory) von Song Yuanyuan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CNY 108.000,00 (€ 14.541,87) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CNY 90.000,00 – 160.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Song Yuanyuan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Polyhedron (Diptych) beobachtet, die im April 2015 für HKD 437.500,00 (€ 50.562,18) versteigert wurde.
