The work Running-cursive Script Calligraphy by Song Cao was worth HKD 500,000.00 (€ 60,928.34) to a buyer in November 2016. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 150,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Song Cao - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Poem In Cursive Script, which sold at auction in September 2012 for USD 158,500.00 (€ 123,288.74).

Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 150.000,00 um ein Vielfaches.
