A top price for Sølve Sundsbø
In May 2016 Phillips in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work Close by Sølve Sundsbø. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 20,000.00 (€ 26,097.89), 67% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Close the most expensive artwork by Sølve Sundsbø that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Mai 2016 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Close von Sølve Sundsbø zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 26.097,89) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht Close zu dem teuersten Kunstwerk von Sølve Sundsbø, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
