In November 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Art of the Soviet Union, which included the work Smolenskaya Embankment by Solomon Borisovich Nikritin. The result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,027.23) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Solomon Borisovich Nikritin have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2012 the work A Square In Moscow was auctioned for GBP 21,250.00 (€ 26,177.84).
