Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Gorky Street by Solomon Borisovich Nikritin was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in June 2020. The price achieved of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,405.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Solomon Borisovich Nikritin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Square In Moscow in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 21,250.00 (€ 26,177.84).
