This artwork by Solomon Borisovich Nikritin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in June 2021. In the Russian Pictures auction, the work Portrait sold for GBP 10,080.00 (€ 11,745.82) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Solomon Borisovich Nikritin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Square In Moscow, which sold at auction in November 2012 for GBP 21,250.00 (€ 26,177.84).
