The work Wand by Sławomir Elsner was auctioned at Sothebys in Cologne in November 2021. It achieved a price of EUR 9,450.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 58 %. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Sławomir Elsner; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Kalifornien II sold at auction in July 2008 with the realized price of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 14,293.25).

Die Arbeit Wand von Sławomir Elsner kam im November 2021 bei Sothebys in Köln zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 9.450,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 58 %. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Sławomir Elsner; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Kalifornien II im Juli 2008 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 14.293,25).
