Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Rehearsal by Robin Darwin was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2004. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 896.25 (€ 1,341.60) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Robin Darwin have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2011 the work Queen's Gate Gardens, London was auctioned for GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,605.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Rehearsal von Robin Darwin kam im März 2004 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 896,25 (€ 1.341,60) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Robin Darwin konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2011 die Arbeit Queen's Gate Gardens, London für GBP 1.375,00 (€ 1.605,17) versteigert.
