Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still Life With Palms by Robin Darwin was sold in the 20th Century British Art including The Studio of Humphrey Jennings auction at Christies in London in July 2006. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 840.00 (€ 1,229.66) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Robin Darwin have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2011 the work Queen's Gate Gardens, London was auctioned for GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,605.17).
