The work Emperor Geese by Peter Markham Scott was sold in the 20th Century British & Irish Art auction at Sothebys in Olympia in March 2007. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 7,800.00 (€ 11,480.71), 30% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Peter Markham Scott - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mallard and Teal in Flight, which sold at auction in May 2020 for GBP 25,062.00 (€ 27,821.58).

Die Arbeit Emperor Geese von Peter Markham Scott wurde im März 2007 in der Auktion 20th Century British & Irish Art bei Sothebys in Olympia versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 7.800,00 (€ 11.480,71) und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Peter Markham Scott mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mallard and Teal in Flight beobachtet, die im Mai 2020 für GBP 25.062,00 (€ 27.821,58) versteigert wurde.
