It achieved a price of GBP 717.00 (€ 1,083.54), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Admittedly, works by Osbert Lancaster have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Washed Out in March 2001 with an auction result of GBP 3,055.00 (€ 4,929.55).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 717,00 (€ 1.083,54) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Osbert Lancaster auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Washed Out im März 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.055,00 (€ 4.929,55).
