Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bonne Bouche, 1952, No. 6B, Rich Old Man; And Bonne-Bouche, 1952, Newspaperman No. 18 by Osbert Lancaster was sold in the A VIEW OVER EATON SQUAREA PRIVATE COLLECTION auction at Christies in London in November 2005. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 420.00 (€ 617.03) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Osbert Lancaster have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Washed Out in March 2001 with an auction result of GBP 3,055.00 (€ 4,929.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bonne Bouche, 1952, No. 6B, Rich Old Man; And Bonne-Bouche, 1952, Newspaperman No. 18 von Osbert Lancaster wurde im November 2005 in der Auktion A VIEW OVER EATON SQUAREA PRIVATE COLLECTION bei Christies in London versteigert.
