It achieved a price of GBP 100,000.00 (€ 111,584.64), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lawrence Alma-Tadema achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work British the Finding Of Moses in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 35,922,500.00 (€ 27,556,382.33).
